The Mobile Spa Advantage

Hi Im Tara : )
I’ve been working in massage and spa bodywork for over 20 years.
Before starting Oasis On-The-Go, I spent years working in the resort spa industry in the Rocky Mountains, learning from some of the most talented therapists and mentors in the field. Those environments shape the way I approach bodywork.
Because in great spas, massage isn’t rushed and it isn’t purely clinical. It’s intentional.
Yes, I work on muscles.
Yes, I work on tension and knots.
But a truly good massage also works with the nervous system — helping the body shift out of stress mode so it can finally relax.
That’s the difference many clients notice right away.
Within the first few minutes, the body starts to soften.
The breath slows down.
The mind quiets.
It’s why people often say the same thing when their massage is finished: “That was the best massage I’ve ever had.”
And it’s why many clients choose to rebook regularly.
Because when the body truly lets go, you can feel the difference.
Frequently
Asked Questions
Are you a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)? Oasis On-The-Go provides professional therapeutic relaxation massage and is not an RMT clinic. Our services focus on tension relief, stress reduction, muscle recovery, and deep relaxation, delivered directly to your home, hotel, or cottage across PEI. Because we are not Registered Massage Therapists, services are not eligible for insurance reimbursement. If you are looking for a clinical treatment plan or insurance-based therapy, an RMT clinic may be a better fit. If you’re looking for experienced, results-driven massage in the comfort of your own space — without having to drive home after — you’re in the right place.
Why do you require full payment to confirm an appointment? As a professional mobile massage service, full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Unlike a traditional spa, we travel directly to homes, hotels, and vacation properties across PEI. Each appointment reserves a dedicated 2–3 hour block in our schedule, including travel time, setup, and your treatment. Once your booking is confirmed, that time is held exclusively for you. Advance payment ensures: • Your appointment is fully secured • Our therapists’ time and travel are respected • Our schedule remains reliable for all clients Why don’t you accept payment on site? For the safety and professionalism of our team, all payments are processed through our secure online booking system. Because our therapists travel to private residences and accommodations, we do not handle cash or in-person transactions. Processing payment in advance allows every appointment to run smoothly and keeps the experience simple, professional, and stress-free for both clients and therapists. Is prepayment common for mobile services? Yes. Many on-location professionals — such as private chefs, photographers, event stylists, and wellness providers — require payment in advance to reserve their time. Because mobile appointments involve travel and dedicated scheduling blocks, advance booking ensures that time is properly secured. Does prepayment serve a safety purpose? Yes. As a mobile service, therapists travel to private homes, hotels, and vacation properties. Secure online payment helps confirm that appointments are legitimate and professionally booked. This protects our staff, prevents non-serious bookings, and allows our team to operate safely and confidently. What if I need to reschedule? We understand that plans can change. Please refer to our cancellation and rescheduling policy for full details on timelines and eligibility.
Do you travel the entire island? Yes. Oasis On-The-Go proudly offers professional mobile massage services throughout Prince Edward Island. We regularly travel to areas including Charlottetown, Stratford, Summerside, Montague, Cavendish, Stanhope, North Rustico, Brackley Beach, and many surrounding communities. Whether you’re staying in a hotel, cottage, vacation rental, or relaxing at home, we bring the spa experience directly to you — from East Point to West Point across the island. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
Is there a travel fee? Yes. A travel fee may apply depending on your location within Prince Edward Island. Travel fees are automatically calculated in our online booking system based on your location, so you’ll see the exact amount before confirming your appointment. Travel fees are a standard practice for professional mobile massage services, as treatments are delivered directly to your hotel, cottage, resort, or private home. Travel zone fees help cover: • Fuel and drive time • Vehicle wear • Transporting full spa equipment • Setup and breakdown time When multiple clients book at the same location, the travel fee is split between guests. Example: $20 travel zone with 2 clients = $10 each $60 travel zone with 2 clients = $30each The more people who book together, the more cost-effective it becomes. Travel Zones (PEI) 🟢 Central PEI Travel Zone — $20 Includes: Charlottetown Stratford Stanhope Brackley Beach Blackbush This is our core service area. 🟠 $40 Travel Zone — Mid-Distance (Approximately 30 minutes outside Charlottetown) Includes: Cavendish North Rustico Stanley Bridge Brudenell Cardigan Georgetown Area Montague These are coastal communities slightly outside the central zone. 🔴 $60 Travel Zone — Island Tips (60+ minutes outside Charlottetown) Includes: Points East: St. Peters → Souris → East Point West PEI: Summerside → Mill River → West Point These are the furthest service areas on the island.
Are your services covered by insurance or extended health benefits? Our services are spa-based relaxation and therapeutic massage and are not provided by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Because of this, treatments are not eligible for insurance reimbursement or extended health benefit coverage. Oasis On-The-Go focuses on professional relaxation massage and wellness treatments delivered in the comfort of your home, hotel, or cottage, creating a spa experience designed around relaxation, stress relief, and recovery.
Do you offer couples massage? Yes. Couples massage is available by pre-booking and subject to therapist availability. Because we are a mobile service, same-time couples appointments require two therapists and some scheduling coordination. If a same-time appointment is not available, we can often offer back-to-back sessions, allowing both guests to relax and enjoy their treatments during the same visit.
What is your cancellation policy? We understand that plans can change. Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice for a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service. Same-day cancellations or missed appointments are non-refundable. If you need to make a change to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment time to another client. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.
How far in advance should I book? Prince Edward Island welcomes nearly 2 million visitors each year, and mobile massage appointments fill quickly during the busy tourism season. During late spring through early fall, we recommend booking several weeks to months in advance, especially in Charlottetown, Cavendish, and other popular vacation areas. Summer availability can fill quickly — particularly for couples massage or dual appointments, which require coordinating two therapists. Booking ahead helps ensure your preferred date and time are available, especially during peak travel periods and summer weekends.
Why do some mobile services require minimum bookings? As a fully mobile spa, certain minimums help ensure we can provide a seamless, high-quality experience while traveling to you. These guidelines allow us to properly account for travel time, setup, and scheduling across Prince Edward Island. Waxing Appointments Mobile waxing services require a minimum service value of $80 per visit. Smaller services such as brow, lip, or chin waxing are absolutely welcome when combined with additional waxing services or added onto a massage or facial appointment. This ensures the time, travel, and professional setup required for mobile service are properly supported. Locations 30+ Minutes Outside Charlottetown Appointments located approximately 30 minutes or more outside Charlottetown may be subject to a travel upgrade fee. For locations 45 minutes or more outside Charlottetown, a 90-minute minimum booking per location is required. Extended travel impacts scheduling availability and limits the number of appointments we can offer in a day. The 90-minute minimum allows us to continue servicing rural and destination areas across PEI while maintaining quality, consistency, and professionalism. If multiple clients are booked at the same address, the 90-minute minimum can be met through combined appointments. These policies allow us to continue offering luxury mobile spa services in homes, hotels, cottages, and vacation rentals across the Island. If you're unsure whether your booking meets the minimum, feel free to reach out — we're happy to help.

A Different Kind of Massage Experience
Oasis On-The-Go is not a registered massage therapy clinic, and we don’t try to be one.
Registered Massage Therapists provide important clinical treatments and work within a medical model of care.
The work I offer is different.
For over 20 years, my background has been in spa and resort bodywork — environments where the focus is on helping the body deeply relax, release tension, and shift out of stress mode.
Rather than working in a clinic setting with back-to-back appointments, I’ve chosen a more intentional pace.
Mobile massage allows each treatment to feel more personal and less clinical.
Different homes.
Different spaces.
Different energy.
And when the massage ends, you don’t have to get up, get dressed, and drive home.
You can take a bath.
Lie down.
Go to sleep.
Allowing the relaxation to fully settle into your body.
For many clients, that difference is exactly why they choose Oasis On-The-Go.
